Sustainability: Mission for NATURE ONE

NATURE ONE has been taking place in the wonderful landscape of the Hunsrück since 1995. We call it the NatureOne country.
At NATURE ONE we bring up to 65,000 visitors* together every year who share our passion for electronic music and peaceful coexistence.
We want to protect our habitat and minimize the impact on the environment. We want to inspire all participants to expand their environmental awareness and positively change behavior both during the festival and afterwards.
NATURE ONE has the potential to have such a positive impact on all participants. Our goal is to lead by example in the area of sustainable event management. In doing so, we focus on waste reduction, mobility, resource-saving production processes and mindful interaction.

Environment / Nature
The vegetation around the CampingVillage and festival grounds are vital to our ecosystem - they clean our air, provide shade, and provide habitat and food for wildlife.
All participants are encouraged to be especially mindful of the vegetation and wildlife.
After NATURE ONE, a thorough cleaning of all used areas as well as adjacent trails, woods and open spaces will be conducted. We want to leave everything in a better condition than we found it.
Awareness
At NATURE ONE, we want to create a safe space where everyone can be themselves and lose themselves in the here and now. We value, respect and protect people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, faiths, ages and ethnicities.
We have a collective responsibility. So if you observe or experience violations, if you feel unsafe or notice someone else being harassed, help each other or contact our staff, security, police or paramedics immediately.
Let's take care of each other.
Sharing is Caring

For 10 years we have been working together with the non-profit organization Viva con Agua Agua in Hamburg-St. Pauli. The international network works to ensure safe access to clean drinking water and basic sanitation in many developing countries. Through our support and that of our visitors, wells can be built in Uganda, among other places.
